تنسيق لبناني – أميركي لتطبيق الإطار الثلاثي… وعون يشدد على تثبيت وقف النار وسلام يبحث آلية الانسحاب الإسرائيلي.
شهدت الساحة السياسية اللبنانية حراكًا دبلوماسيًا لافتًا مع استقبال كل من رئيس الجمهورية العماد جوزاف عون ورئيس مجلس الوزراء الدكتور نواف سلام السفير الأميركي في لبنان مايكل عيسى، في إطار متابعة تنفيذ الإطار الثلاثي، والبحث في الخطوات العملية الهادفة إلى تثبيت وقف إطلاق النار، وبدء الانسحاب الإسرائيلي من المناطق التجريبية، تمهيدًا لاستكمال انتشار الجيش اللبناني.
استقبل رئيس مجلس الوزراء الدكتور نواف سلام السفير الأميركي، حيث جرى البحث في تنفيذ الإطار الثلاثي، ولا سيما المباشرة بالانسحاب الإسرائيلي من المناطق التجريبية، بما يتيح للجيش اللبناني الانتشار فيها وفق الآلية المتفق عليها.
وفي قصر بعبدا، أكد رئيس الجمهورية العماد جوزاف عون خلال استقباله السفير الأميركي ضرورة تثبيت وقف إطلاق النار، ومواصلة الضغط على إسرائيل لوقف الأعمال العسكرية، والتقيد بما ورد في الإطار الثلاثي، إلى جانب وقف القصف وأعمال التفجير والتجريف التي تنفذها القوات الإسرائيلية في البلدات والقرى التي لا تزال تحتلها.
من جهته، أوضح السفير الأميركي مايكل عيسى أن زيارته للمسؤولين اللبنانيين تعكس الاهتمام الذي توليه واشنطن بدعم أمن لبنان واستقراره، مشيرًا إلى أن التحضيرات مستمرة لتنفيذ ما تم الاتفاق عليه، وأن وفدًا عسكريًا أميركيًا سيصل إلى بيروت خلال الأيام المقبلة للتنسيق ووضع الآليات التنفيذية الميدانية الخاصة ببدء الانسحاب الإسرائيلي وانتشار الجيش اللبناني.
ويؤكد هذا الحراك اللبناني – الأميركي استمرار الجهود السياسية والدبلوماسية لترجمة التفاهمات إلى خطوات عملية على الأرض، بما يكرس وقف إطلاق النار، ويعزز انتشار الجيش اللبناني، ويمهد لاستعادة الاستقرار في المناطق الحدودية الجنوبية.
Lebanese–U.S. Coordination on the Tripartite Framework: Aoun Stresses Ceasefire, Salam Discusses Israeli Withdrawal
Lebanon witnessed renewed diplomatic activity as President General Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam separately received U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Michael Issa to discuss the implementation of the Tripartite Framework. Talks focused on consolidating the ceasefire, initiating the Israeli withdrawal from designated areas, and facilitating the deployment of the Lebanese Armed Forces.
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam discussed with Ambassador Issa the practical steps for implementing the Tripartite Framework, particularly the start of the Israeli withdrawal from the designated trial areas, paving the way for the Lebanese Army to deploy in accordance with the agreed mechanism.
At Baabda Palace, President Joseph Aoun emphasized the need to firmly uphold the ceasefire and continue international pressure on Israel to halt military operations and fully comply with the provisions of the framework. He also called for an end to shelling, demolitions, and land-clearing operations carried out by Israeli forces in the towns and villages they continue to occupy.
For his part, Ambassador Michael Issa stressed that his meetings with Lebanese officials reflect Washington’s commitment to supporting Lebanon’s security and stability. He announced that a U.S. military delegation is expected to arrive in Beirut in the coming days to coordinate and finalize the field implementation mechanisms for the Israeli withdrawal and the deployment of the Lebanese Army.
The meetings underscore the ongoing Lebanese–American coordination aimed at translating diplomatic understandings into concrete steps on the ground, reinforcing the ceasefire, strengthening the role of the Lebanese Army, and advancing stability along Lebanon’s southern border.
